Bunraku Nights
Sorry, there is not a whole lot set up on this page yet.
It's basically just a placeholder as I work on the concepts associated with my game Bunraku Nights.
In short, it's a game about secretive manipulators, each with a troupe of specialist operatives, and each trying to get the edge on one another.
It's designed with the aim of fairly intuitive rules, based on the placement of dominos as players try to gain a strategic edge over one another. And it can be just as easily played as a competitive game with players pitted against one another, or in a more traditional "roleplaying adventure" mode where players unite against an external threat.
Bunraku Nights still needs a lot of work, but it's slowly coming together. Once this version of the game has been fine tuned into a fully playable product, I'd love to expand the notion from it's current cyberpunk incarnation into other versions...perhaps a similar game using courtiers in the southern parts of Renaissance Europe, another version focusing on ninja clans, or even players taking the roles of ancient gods while their manipulated pawns are demigods and heroes of the ancient world.
I think there is some great storytelling potential in the system, even if it doesn't follow a traditional RPG format.

Remember, this is a drft copy of an incomplete rule set. It has merely been provided online for a few people who were interested in the concept when I mentioned it in a few forums...
