Eighth Sea Online Tools
These pages have been provided for players of the Eighth Sea to have quick and easy access to many of the tables and random generators scattered through the main rulebook. As far as possible, the random factors have been replicated through programming to give the same results as found in the book.

Random Voyages
Sometimes, temporal privateers have their own agendas, personal vendettas or noble goals that drive them across time and space. More often, they are in the service of employers, fulfilling the requests of allies or on the run from dangerous groups such as the Integrity Marines.
Jobs payin' too little, or too much. You gotta be extra careful with both.
-Lexington Day
When undertaking voyages, a temporal privateer has no idea where they could be sent, and this is only half the problem. Voyages could take a crew to any part of the world, at any stage of history, and could lead to parallel worlds or twisted reflections of the world they know. Things will rarely end up matching their first appearances, reality will blend with conspiracy, myth and legend.
The open and flowing nature of strategic stories told during sessions of the Eighth Sea make missions hard to define at a specific level when they begin. As a result, the random missions provided with this generator are deliberately vague. The time and place is fairly general, and if a player has a specific idea of how to focus the story, they may spend Pieces of Eight to define the story in this way. The descriptions of the acts give general ideas about how to achieve the mission, but the specifics are in the hands of the characters. The options for free props may be offered to the players, and chosen for the mission (these may be ignored or others may be added as normal).
